The Team Leaders Course
(or 'What takes too long to learn from experience')
At the point where someone is promoted to ‘team-leader’ their status and role suddenly, and often dramatically, changes. Traditionally the new skills required are learnt over time through experience, observation and coaching. In practice however the acquisition of these abilities can be
accelerated significantly.
The Team Leaders Course aims to create impressive team leaders with the tools to effectively manage downwards, upwards and outwards. The course is available for up to 12 participants.
The Course is over two days and includes managing by objectives; project management techniques; team management for results; coaching skills; giving and receiving feedback; managing expectations; basic selling skills; structuring and delivering complex presentations; managing your boss; personal motivation and resource accessing; managing conflicting demands.
The Team Leaders Course results in high performance managers with the skills to deliver against expectations and early demonstration of their capability to grow to the next level.
