The Recent Entrants Course
(or 'What they don't teach you at Business School')
The introduction to the world of work in people-based service businesses can be challenging: tight time frames and demanding requirements, multiple relationships, often fluid structures. No wonder personal doubts and a sense of unfulfilled potential can result.
The Recent Entrants Course aims to equip individuals with the tools to effectively and confidently contribute to the level of their potential, from the start. Each course is for a maximum of 20 attendees.
The Course is over two to four days depending on content and covers a number of important practical skills including setting personal goals in work and life; personal image and projection; managing a work/life balance; effective time management; the seven good habits; how to ‘read’ people and personality types; getting on with others in productive relationships; setting up and managing meetings for results; leading small teams; politics and integrity; dealing with panic and disaster; sure-fire presentation skills; controlling their beliefs and anxieties; seeking and managing feedback.
The Recent Entrants Course results in young people with an increased level of confidence and productivity and can be integrated into existing client Induction programs. Attendees will look back on the course and talk about it as having given them job skills for life.
